General Terminology

Darknet Market (DNM)

An online commercial platform operating on an overlay network. The Torzon market is currently the leading DNM, providing a decentralized hub for vendors and buyers. Unlike clear-net sites, a DNM requires a specific browser to access its Torzon onion address.

Mirror

A redundant copy of a website. Due to DDoS attacks, the main Torzon url may be unreachable. Users must rely on verified "mirrors" to access the Torzon login page. Always verify mirrors via PGP signature.

Tor (The Onion Router)

The underlying technology that powers the Torzon darknet. It anonymizes traffic by bouncing it through three volunteer nodes. Without Tor, the Torzon official site is inaccessible.

Finance & Economy

Escrow

A financial arrangement where a third party (the Torzon market system) holds funds until the buyer receives the product. This protects users from vendor scams. Escrow is mandatory for all new Torzon vendor accounts.

Finalize Early (FE)

A privilege granted to top-tier vendors on the Torzon official platform. FE allows the vendor to receive funds before the product is delivered. Buyers should only FE with trusted vendors who have a long history on the Torzon darknet.

XMR (Monero)

A privacy-centric cryptocurrency. Unlike Bitcoin, XMR transactions on the Torzon market are untraceable. It is the recommended currency for funding your Torzon wallet to maintain OpSec.

Security & OpSec

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)

An encryption program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication. On the Torzon market, PGP is used for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and encrypting delivery addresses. Never use a Torzon login without PGP 2FA enabled.

Phishing

A fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information such as your Torzon login credentials. Phishers create fake sites that look identical to the Torzon official page. Always verify the URL against the PGP signed list found on this wiki or the Torzon onion landing page.

Tumbling (Mixing)

The process of breaking the link between your crypto coins and your identity. While Monero makes this obsolete, Bitcoin users must tumble coins before depositing to any Torzon link to avoid blockchain analysis.
